Join us at Gooseberry Island for a COASTSWEEP beach clean up. No registration required! Just come the day of.
Gloves and bags provided. All ages welcome!
We will be documenting the waste collected by hand with a paper form and pencil, or through the Clean Swell App that volunteers can download before the clean up. Those interested can download the app here: https://oceanconservancy.org/work/plastics/cleanups-icc/clean-swell-app/ .

COASTSWEEP is part of an annual event to raise awareness and clean beaches from Boston to Bimini. The International Coastal Cleanup organized by Ocean Conservancy brings hundreds of thousands of volunteers to beaches, lakes, and streams worldwide to remove marine debris (i.e., trash, fishing line, and any other human-made items) and collect data on what is found to help analyze and address this problem.
