Visual Impairment group March Meeting
Coastal Neighbors Network started up a visual impairment
group (the VIP Group), and it meets the third Friday of every
month.
This month we hosted a guest, Rachel Eckenreiter from
the New Bedford Health Department. She lost most of her vision
at an early age, yet her resilience and determination moved us
all as she told her story.
At our next meeting on March 21, 2025 we will host Chris Matel
from the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind. Chris will
discuss available resources for the visually impaired. Lunch
provided.
