SPRING ANOINTING MASS
After a 5-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the annual Anointing Mass returns on
Saturday, April 27 at 11 AM in the Parish Center at St. Mary’s Church, Dartmouth.
789 Dartmouth Street, South Dartmouth.
Following the Mass, a luncheon will be served.
If you wish to attend, please make your reservation by calling Leah at the Social
Concerns Ministry at 774-992-0155. Reservations must be made by Friday,
April 19th.
The Anointing Mass offers the Sacrament of the Sick, which is the embodiment of the Church’s prayer for healing. It is intended for parishioners who are suffering from a physical ailment,
those who suffer from a serious mental or emotional condition, those preparing for
surgery in the near future and any elderly parishioners that wish to participate.
The Social Concerns Ministry is hosting this event and invites parishioners to
attend. Mass will be held in the Parish Gym with easy access for rollators and
wheelchairs. Greeters will be on hand to assist attendees. Lunch will be served in
the Club Room next to the Gym. Caregivers are invited to accompany their loved
one.
