FRIENDS OF THE DARTMOUTH LIBRARIES
Abstract Watercolor Workshop
Wednesday, April 24, 1 PM

Dartmouth – Join the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries on Wednesday, April 24, at 1 p.m.
for a two-hour watercolor workshop with local artist and teacher Jane Bregoli. Participants will
use the styles of abstract painter Sonia Delaunay as inspiration for their own watercolor
compositions. Painters of all skill levels are welcome and are expected to bring their own
supplies: watercolor paints, paper, and brushes. The workshop will be held at the Dartmouth
North Branch Library.

Jane Bregoli is a well-known local artist whose mediums include oil and watercolor paint,
etching, and clay. In addition, she is the author and illustrator of the multiple award-winning
book, The Goat Lady, about the life of Noelie Houle, a long-time Dartmouth resident. Ms.
Bregoli received a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and a MFA in Painting from the
University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Because space is limited, advance registration is required and can be made by calling the Library
at (508) 999-0726.

Ms. Bregoli’s class will be held at the Dartmouth North Branch Library, 211 Cross Road,
Dartmouth, MA. For more information, please e-mail fodl.libraries@gmail.com.
