New Bedford Preservation Society is celebrating 
45 years of preservation this year! 

As part of the year's festivities join the NBPS for a free Summer Walking Tours Series.
Bruce Barnes will be your tour guide with interesting narratives about the architecture and biographical history of the city's various 19th century neighborhoods featured on the tours. Tours will not be held in inclement weather.

Neighborhoods of the Textile Era Walking Tour
Gather at the Wamsutta Club, 427 County Street. 
New Bedford was an important center for textile production in the world at the industry's peak in the early 1900s. This tour will highlight some of the neighborhoods and explore the legacy of this long and eventful period in the history of New Bedford.
