Please come to our volunteer information & training session to find out how you can be the best volunteer.  We need volunteers for:

Transportation  Assisting members in getting to doctor's appointments, shopping for groceries, running errands or driving to social events
Friendly visits  Volunteers visit members at their homes to provide companionship
Social activities  Volunteers will organize social outings to local cultural events, small gatherings and discussion groups 
Home maintenance  Volunteers will be able to help a member with some light housekeeping tasks such as replacing light bulbs, smoke alarm batteries
Office help  Volunteers are needed to assist our Executive Director with administrative tasks

Application Process:  All volunteers will fill out an application, provide two references, meet with our Executive Director and submit to a background check.  We would love to know your interests are and find ways for you to help shape our organization.  We hope our volunteers will commit to helping on a weekly basis but we understand the need for flexibility.
Volunteers do not have to live in the town of Dartmouth.  They can reside in one of the nearby towns.
